Ultramarine blue
Product Intro
Ultramarine blue is the oldest and most bright blue pigment, it is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and part of inorganic pigment. It is used for whitening and can eliminate yellowness from white paint and other white pigments. It is insoluble in water, alkali-resistant, heat resistant, and stable in extremely weather. but it is not acid-resistant and will decompose and change color when exposed to acid.

Application
- Ultramarine is a bright blue powder, which can eliminate the yellowness from white substance, is resistant to alkali, heat, and light. It will decompose and fade when exposed to acid, and insoluble in water. Ultramarine is an inorganic pigment. It is made by mixing sulfur, clay, quartz, carbon, etc.
- Used in paint, rubber, printing and dyeing, ink, color painting, construction.
- Used in paint, knitting industry, paper-making, detergent for whitening purposes.
- Use ultramarine powder to add blending oil, glue and acrylic separately to make oil painting, watercolor painting, gouache painting and acrylic paint respectively. Ultramarine is a mineral pigment that is transparent, weak in hiding power and high in brightness, so it is not suitable for painting very dark tones. It is suitable for decorative colors, especially in ancient Chinese buildings.
